Having focused her specialization in aging psychology at the Andrus Gerontology Center at the University of Southern California, Dr. Gurvitz has been committed to understanding the psychological effects of aging. Her experience includes over fifteen years of experience treating residents of nursing homes. She also serves as an examining committee member to the 6th judicial circuit Probate court. In that capacity, she assesses individuals who may be incapacitated and should be assigned a guardian.
